The Sounds & Samba of Brazil
Brazilian Carnaval 2015 includes music from Unidos Da Bahia with legendary members of Olodum and Timbalada,
blending Afro Brazilian, Samba Reggae and Carnaval music from Bahia to Rio with sizzling hot percussion rhythms and samba that is electrifying. Olodum is one of Brazil’s most famous Carnaval bands that collaborated with the late Michael Jackson in their native city – Salvador, Bahia, Brazil to create the dynamic song –  “They Don’t Care About Us”
Here is the video of the collaboration:

Also performing at the Brazilian Carnaval is Reggae / Dancehall legend, Pato Banton with the Samba Reggae Drummers.
This is a new fusion project that is taking the world by storm, mixing his own hits with popular Bob Marley songs and backed by
an authentic ensemble of Afro Brazilian percussionists!

Joining the lineup will be Papiba and Dandha, members of Santa Cruz local sensation, SambaDa.
They have been performing some of the best Carnaval and Music Festivals across the US for more than 10 years.

The Samba is to Brazilians an unencumbered way to dance into a euphoric, ecstatic state. The audience will be invited to surrender to samba beats, Flying Cirque Capoeira, and participatory Carnaval Parade dances! A parade of energetic and ornately costumed samba dancers performing elaborate and lightning-fast steps. These dancers exhibit samba culture and elegance via athletic and energetic samba dance skills.
